Farming this year has been all about being positive. A lot easier said than done when you are dealing with drought, but with the dry comes less break shifting! And we are pleased to report the cattle are loving their diet of silage takeaways and are pumping the sort of weight gains you would expect out of any good fast food outlet!

In selecting for the 2015 sale we have taken no prisoners with 392 bull calves selected, but only 120 making it through to the finals. A detailed and in-depth process which meant every animal has had to perform to earn a spot for the big day. The team has a good balance to it with some really tough well muscled boys up front, big strong runners in the middle, and some smooth shouldered boys in the back. All destined to look after the ladies if they get a chance to date.
